Looking solely for new friends to get a social life of any nature back up and running. My best friends live abroad and l don't get to see them. Very few friends locally who l see in person. I'm looking for someone to just do normal stuff with. Preferably someone single like me who knows what it's like and just gets it. I'm not into going out to get delibrately wasted though I don't object to others with that mindset. It's just not for me personally. I love dancing, the cinema, museums, pubs we can sit down in, gardening, shopping, badminton for fun, cycle rides, trips out of town, love walking along beaches and enjoy scenic walks too. I'm a single Mum to a 19 year old. I am not looking for loud boisterous friends nor screechy types. I'm unemployed and don't drive. Am asthmatic and on the quieter more pensive side personality wise. Do love to laugh, and I do have a zany open minded personality. I'm just as happy spending hours in a library as l am in a club dancing. Have lived abroad and seen a lot. No wallflowers or shallow thinkers. I'm shy initially and a little anxious until get to know people better so bare with me on that. Humour and laughter always brilliant icebreakers but leave the nastier lower level of sarcasam at home please it can be cutting unnecessarily. Weird/zany/goofy/dorky and jokey welcomed. Want to join a gym and start up some sport/outdoor adventure stuff again. Love train journeys and whilst l love going shopping l'm not a fashionista or into the fake hugs and fake smiles perfect hair and nails thing. I'm not perfect and don't want to be. Just want a good friend to enjoy life with whatever it brings our way. Lets just go do something, even if it is just scoffing chocolate watching a film, or going for a walk or bike ride somewhere. I'm. ok with with quiet and shy friends just as much as l am with chatty friends. Your health issues aren't a barrier and neither is depression or anxiety as long as you have the desire to live and to laugh even if it brings about tears. It's fine. I''m looking for a good loyal friend, a bestie enotvrn and not looking for fairweather friends I see maybe twice a year if lucky. Are you looking for the same? What you look like isn't an issue either as l'm definitely no beauty and I don't wear expensive clothing etc. We have nothing to lose either way from meeting up. If we gel we gel, if we don't well that happens in life. Though we won't discovered any of that if we don't meet up.
