“ Hi,I'm MARK,a single*" old" Dad of Three young Boys aged,11,9 and 6,(from a previous relationship, and who live with their mom).I see them regularly to take them to swimming lessons,football practices and matches and for days out,and have a great relationship with them,so,it would need a VERY special lady, (especially at"our ages"),to accept that the boys are an active and Large part of my life, BUT,as IMPORTANT as they ARE to me,they don't take up a 100% of my time,and I'm STILL "Me",the rest of the time and not JUST "DAD",as *Proud as I am to be one and Theirs. For myself,I no longer *presently work,and haven't been able to now for 2 yrs nearly,as,(and, this is another "biggy" to accept,)I was diagnosed with stage 4 Prostrate Cancer in December 2021.The GOOD news is,ive gone through all my Chemo and Radio treatments,and now have meds and implants to keep me healthy and,I'm doing REALLY well,and im still strong and fit,and in good shape considering!?(personal opinion obviously!)I don't have *quiet as much strength and energy I had,to do *active work I once used to do,but,even so,this DOESNT mean,im on my "Last Legs"!,OR,going to,"pop"my clogs just YET a while,OR,ANY time SOON for that matter,that's the "Plan" anyway Lol!?!. And,it DOESN'T,stop me wanting to meet a Lovely Lady who could find it in her Heart to Accept me,my Children,my Life,and Things as they *Are,(as I would and will for them too),and be able to have a Nice,Genuine,Honest,Fun,Close,*Freindship,
and Share Life's Good times(bad too,cos,that's life isn't it at the end of the day?) with..wether that just be,going shopping,or,going out for a drive(have my own car),or a walk,a coffee,a bite to eat,for a drink,a night out,the cinema,or days away,or just something as SIMPLE as sharing time to Chat and Shoot the Breeze together on the phone,or,over some Lunch,or a Cuppa,or,whatevers your "Poison" of choice?,or, maybe watch a Programme on the box together?.*WHATEVER YOU like to do,or,takes your fancy.Im NOT expecting much,or many people to be *interested in me,with what Life has thrown at me,and given me now,it will take a VERY,Special Person to *want to be part of this,and "Accept" this I KNOW,and,it's asking a LOT,but,its ONLY an "illness"at the end of the day,and,its NOT,what makes me.."ME".And,to look at me,you'd never know,and the Good news is...its NOT catching lol!.SO,how i see it is,"Nothing Ventured,NOTHING Gained",and I'm still VERY Much Here,and Life's TOO Short to waste,and is for LIVING,and I may not have much in Life,*Materially,to give to someone that way as such,or have much to "show" for myself, at this *MOMENT in time,(except three gorgeous boys,I'm VERY biased lol!,but theyre LOVELY,trust me,and not hard work!?!)Plus,a small,but close and Loving Family and a Handful of Great Friends I've known for many years.And I'm far from Rich,IHave my own place(well rented,but who doesnt?)and what I DO Have,is a VERY Big Heart, Lots of *"Love",as a*Freind etc to Give,I am a Good Listener,Loyal,Appreciative,and an Honest, Genuine,kind and Caring Guy.I can be"funny",(tho half the time, without even realising it,and the joke tends to be on ME!),im no"party animal",im*kinda quiet,(until i get to know you,and you get to know me)and a bit of a *Homebird i guess,and im Built for "Comfort,not for Speed"(that doesn't mean im"portly"tho,lol!), BUT,i Do Love to Walk and get out and about(Love the Sea and the Coast) and Socialise and go for a Drink,or a Meal out,even if its only a chippy!,i Love Music,of All types(Love Rock,but i listen to EVERYTHING..trust me!),and Love to listen to Live Music,when I can,and,go to local gigs and see bands play.And I am a person now, who,in his "Autumn" years,would LOVE to share All that and MORE,with a *Likeminded Lady and Enjoy nice times,and what Life wants to give to us,while we can,and,who knows?.. where, it *might go?,or.. *lead us too?...I've got NOTHING to Lose,and EVERYTHING to Gain,and LOTS to *Give,soo...that's ME..what you"SEE" is what you "GET"(Ive EVEN managed to load a *fairly recent photo on here too,though its NOT the best,which for a technophobe "Dinosaur" like me,is pretty good i thought lol!?!),and IF,you think you *May be "interested" in adding another *Friend to your list maybe??,then..you know where to find me!?...if you stayed the Distance,and read ALL of this "ramble",then..
